Sound feedback

1) Type up your feedback from your teacher.

Teacher feedback:
WWW
  • Good description
  • Well chosen images
  • Similar themes
  • Good quality
  • Fade at the end

2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarise key points if several students give you similar feedback.

Student feedback:
WWW
  • Clear distinction
  • Good pacing
  • Good use of sound
  • Good resolution
  • Used images and videos
  • Contrasts well
  • Good music
  • Good description
EBI
  • Fit pictures in frame
  • Abrupt ending

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. Write a 'What went well' (WWW) paragraph and a paragraph for 'Even Better If' (EBI) underneath the rest of your feedback.

Self assessment:
WWW
  • Good pace
  • Clear distinction
  • Quality of images
EBI
  • Clips fit in the screen

4) Learner response: compare your own video against your evaluation of the top three videos in the class. Whose did you think was best and why? How could you have improved your own video?

I really liked Sabrina's, Payal's and Trushi's because there was a clear distinction between which was which. I could've improved mine by fitting the images to the screen and making the ending less abrupt.

5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?

Sound is really important because it has to match what is going on in the clip otherwise it wont make sense. I also learnt what contrapuntal sound was and I think it makes a clip much more interesting when the sound doesn't match whats going on in the clip.
