Mis-en-scene recreation

 Plan:

Costumes: Try get as close as possible to what the actors are wearing in the film

Lighting: The lighting seems to be natural so just use natural lighting as well as ceiling lights

Actor placement: Try and place each person as similar as possible to where the actors are placed on the chairs

Makeup: No makeup is really being worn. It seems to be very natural

Props: A piece of paper in the teachers hand, a watch being used by one of the characters and a bag being moved seats. There's also something that looks likes gloves.

Setting: It seems to be set in a library so something as close as we get, maybe a classroom.

For this recreation task, my group worked on the detention scene from the breakfast club. Each scene was shot in the media classroom using a tripod. We tried to make each angle match the angles used in the actual film. In my opinion, the angles weren't the best and we could've done much better. We did the first 30 seconds of the clip. It took multiple tries to get it as close as possible which made it quite difficult. At the end of it, I think we tried our best to match it up and hopefully the next recreation task we're given will be much better than this one.
